Whether you want to explore on foot, or by two or four wheels, there are plenty of activities making Carno Farm an ideal base for a holiday in the Brecon Beacons.
You don’t need to venture very far to take part in a comprehensive selection of outdoor activities. Almost every activity you can imagine is accessible from Carno. Some let you experience the Brecon Beacons National Park from a brand new perspective, by gliding, abseiling and gorgewalking for instance.
There are also many interesting nearby tourist attractions well worth visiting including the Dan yr Ogof cave complex, National Trust gardens, Castles and Abbeys that aptly illustrate this region’s heritage.
You can venture to St David’s in the West to Abergavenny in the East, go on the “Waterfall Walk” or “Taff Trail” cycle route. Wherever you end up you are sure to be impressed by the scale and grandeur of the countryside that you pass through.
For the younger ones, or the young at heart, visit Cantref Adventure Farm where there are plenty of fun things to do.
However, if you are keen to get to the coast during your holiday, in just over an hour from Carno you can be at Cardigan Bay or the Gower penninsular. An information booklet is provided at each property on Carno Farm to help guests get familiar with the surrounding area.
Whatever the season, whatever your purpose for holidaying here, Carno farm self-catering accommodation is an excellent choice for your stay.
